The Japan Research Centre at SOAS will host the triennial conference of the British Association of Japanese Studies on 9-10 September 2010. We are looking forward to two full days of roundtables, workshops, panels and papers, with some 100 presenters from the UK, Europe, Japan and beyond, including a plenary address by Ueno Toshiya, noted cultural studies scholar and media theorist.
The provisional programme can be found here. Please note that the schedule may change due to unforeseen circumstances that may arise between now and September.
Please note that there are discounts for early registration and for BAJS members, as follows. BAJS membership provides a number of benefits and is free to postgraduate students. Application and payment for BAJS membership can be submitted together with conference registration.
